Kashiwa Bujinkan teaches authentic Japanese ninjutsu — one of the last true combat martial arts still practiced. Practical self-defense, weapons mastery, and a warrior's mindset. Not a sport. Not a gym. A dojo.
Ninjutsu — the art of winning, the art of enduring. This is a combat martial art rooted in nine traditional Japanese fighting schools passed down through the Bujinkan system founded by Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi.
There are no tournaments, no point systems, no referees. Training focuses on what actually works: strikes, joint locks, throws, weapons, movement, awareness, and strategy. Every class is different because real conflict is unpredictable.
You don't need to be in shape to start. You need to be willing to show up and work.
No experience needed. No special gear. Just show up.
Arrive 10 minutes before any class. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring water. That's it.
Your first class is on us. Jump in and train, or observe a full class first — your call.
If it's for you, sign basic paperwork and pay for the month. No contracts, no pressure, no hidden fees.
Bryan Garner has trained in martial arts since age five, earning black belt ranks across multiple disciplines including Karate, Kenpo, Aikido, Eishin Ryu Iaido, Kendo, HEMA, and MMA before dedicating himself to the Bujinkan system.
He earned his Godan directly from Grandmaster Hatsumi in Japan in 2008 and became the sole pupil of Shidoshi Jeffrey Russell, taking over instruction of the Air Force Academy's Ninjutsu Club in 2004. He taught martial arts at the high school level before opening his own dojo, and currently serves as the Kenjutsu instructor at Synergy Sword Arts Fencing School in Colorado Springs.
Beyond the dojo, Shidoshi Garner is a certified ASP and REDMAN instructor, serves as a firearms instructor in his role in armed security, and has spent over eighteen years in corporate protective security.
